Serving Proudly As The Voice Of Valley County Since 1913

Bonjour, Glasgow

Hello everyone! As your new sports editor, I am really excited to be here and can’t wait to cover such a strong and vivid sports community.

If my name doesn’t sound English to you, that’s because it’s French! I was born in the south of France and arrived in the U.S. in 2010 to study journalism. I obtained my Multimedia Journalism degree from Simpson College, Iowa, in 2012 and got my first job in Southern Texas.

How did I end up in Glasgow, you might ask? Well, life is full of surprises, and one such surprise hit me when I was offered the opportunity to come here and work for The Glasgow Courier. I did not hesitate!

I am passionate about all sports, including every American pastime that you could try to think of. But if you really want to know, my true love is soccer (or football, as we Europeans call it.) It may not be quite as popular around Glasgow or the United States in general, but I would love to hear from people who are interested in the sport. If you want lessons or just to play some pickup games, I’m your man!

That being said, I’m ready for pickup games of all varieties: basketball, baseball, volleyball ... just don’t be surprised that French people know how to play!

I hope you'll enjoy our sports coverage and don't hesitate to share pictures of your kids playing sports; they might end up in the paper!

If you have any questions, please email me at [email protected].

Au revoir!
