Montana Routs N.D. In Badlands

For the 15th time in 20 tries, Montana defeated North Dakota in the Knights of Columbus Badlands Bowl on Saturday in Miles City.

Montana jumped out of the gates for a 29-point lead in the first quarter en route to a 43-29 victory in the 20th annual game between the two states. North Dakota tried to wage a comeback in the second half, causing a few turnovers, but Montana ultimately defended their home turf at Connors Stadium, raising their record in Montana to 9-2.

The game is comprised of stars from across the state of Montana and through all classes. Malta’s Tucker Schye represented District 2B and was named Montana’s defensive MVP.
