    Opheim students put on a Reader's Theater program on April 11, where students were assigned a character and had to act out the plot for those in attendance. Reader's Theater is a collaborative strategy for developing oral reading fluency through reading parts in scripts. Though students do not need to memorize their part, they do re-read the script several times to build familiarity with the language and have the opportunity to practice the expressions associated with the script.
