The goal of honoring local veterans is becoming a reality. As Memorial Day creeps closer on the calendar, the Northeast Montana Veterans Memorial Park in Fort Peck is nearing its financial goals. A Glasgow police officer has been awarded the Montana Medal of Valor for his actions that saved the life of a law enforcement dispatcher who was trapped in a burning truck.
