He was surrounded in love by five of his siblings at Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital in Glasgow, Mont.     The Northeast Montana Relay For Life (RFL) had their 2018 kickoff event March 23, at the Valley Event Center with the Skate For A Cure event. About 30 players participated in the hockey game and an estimated 100 people attended. A 50/50 drawing was held with the winner donating the funds back to the RFL.     On Oct. 28, local eighth-grader Kyler Hallock received a distinguished honor when he was presented the first ever Heroism Award at the American Legion's fall conference in Helena. Hallock was recognized for actions taken during the bus crash that occurred on Sept. 19, at the rest stop between Glasgow and Hinsdale.     Valley County Commissioners had an eventful discussion and decision meeting on June 21. During the meeting, they approved a couple of bids and the appointment of individuals to various county boards. The first bid the commissioners approved was a bid by Perfect 10 Roofing to rebuild the roof on the Courthouse.
