With that backdrop, the Glasgow airport saw a change in management at the end of last year along with the welcome of Cape Air. While projects weren't required, students did get a chance for extra credit and had the chance to advance to the regional Science Fair in Havre. But because of the superintendent at that time leaving and a new superintendent coming in, the board voted to table the issue. At the school board meeting, a motion was made that the board have the ability to explore and adopt a four-day or modified four-day school week. Glenda Mae (Gideon) Farrell took her victory lap on Monday, Jan. 15, 2024. We can imagine her gathering of ancestors pouring a ten-gallon tub of Gatorade over her back when she pulled that last hill. Lucky Clover 4-H did a Meal Fundraiser, and we want to thank the Nashua community for their support of Lucky Clover 4-H. Our club has been doing roller skating for Club Community Hours from 1-3 p.m. on Sundays at the Nashua Civic Center. Lucky Clover is hosting a Valentine’s Day party for roller skating on Sunday, Feb. 11 and there will be treats, cheese and crackers and other goodies. The Glasgow City Council met in special session on Jan. 10 to further discuss with the Siding 45 Skatepark committee where the best location would be to build the new proposed skatepark. Key findings in the report show that in 2010 around 85 percent of housing in Glasgow was built prior to 1976. The percentage of home ownership was also lower here than in the state and nation.
