    The Glasgow City Council met for their regular council meeting on Feb. 21 in the Council Chambers. Regular business was voted on including payment of claims in the amount of $131,839.68; payment of Valley Court Apartment claims in the amount of $1,709.37 and approval of the Feb. 6 regular council meeting minutes. There was a huge crowd in the public sitting area of the council chambers as the Siding 45 Skatepark committee and supporters were in attendance to discuss working with the city in order to find a location for a future city skatepark....

    Cecil Floyd Dalby passed away after a short illness on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2023. Cecil was born in Glasgow, Mont., March 13, 1941, to Emil and Alma (Frederick) Dalby. He was the seventh child out of eight children. In July of 1963 Cecil decided to forgo his senior year of high school to join the Army and was stationed in Fort Carson, Colo. until July 9, 1965.     The Glasgow Chamber hosted "A Candyland Christmas" on Dec. 3 with the Christmas Stroll and Parade of Lights. Chilly temperatures certainly did not deter the community to come out and enjoy the fesitivites. Monday, Nov. 7 1646 – Caller from a business said someone is bringing up a big 5th Wheel trailer from Oregon. He said they’re having problems with the trailer.
