Glasgow Public Schools have welcomed several new teachers this school year. From Irle to Glasgow Middle School to Glasgow High School, these educators have already been making a difference in the lives of their students. The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) announced on Dec. 13 it will begin enforcing Emergency Rules that temporarily restrict the sale of flavored e-cigarette products in Montana. The enforcement of these rules went into effect on Dec. 18, and include the sale of all flavored e-cigarette products, including flavored nicotine, THC and CBD e-cigarette products, both in-store and online. Valley County Search and Rescue is once again partnering with local wrecker companies and fire departments with support from the DUI Task Force to provide rides on New Year’s Eve. The annual program is offered free-of-charge to anyone who is unable to drive home on the holiday. Rides will be available beginning at 4 p.m on Dec. 31 and run through 2 a.m. Jan. 1. All Valley County high school seniors are eligible to apply for substantial college scholarships that will be awarded in February by the Hi-Line Sportsmen. Glasgow's 19U Ice Dawgs hosted their first home games Dec. 13, 14, and 15, at the Valley Event Center with a pair of games against both the Havre Ice Hawks and the Salmon Rapids.
