    The Glasgow Schools held their regular monthly board meeting on Dec. 12, inside of the District Board Room. The most important topic discussed was the shortage of bus drivers the district is currently experiencing. “It’s a unique position. It fits a certain set of community members. You start in the morning, then you are done for the day, then you drive the bus in the afternoon.   • City of Glasgow Reminds Citizens It Is Unlawful To Deposit Snow From Private Property Into Public Right Of Ways

    The City Of Glasgow is reminding citizens that it is unlawful to deposit snow, ice, and slush from private property into public right of ways. Under City Ordinances it is unlawful for any person to deposit snow, ice or slush from private property onto any fire hydrant, street, alley or sidewalk. Any person violating any provision of the ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and processed under City Ordinances.     Candy (Krause) France, age 76, of Glasgow, Mont., passed away Monday, Dec. 12, 2022, at Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital, in Glasgow, after a battle with Endometrial Cancer. She was strong and brave to the very end. Candy was born to Ralph and Gladys (Jensen) Krause on May 20, 1946, in Great Falls, Mont. She graduated from Helena High School in 1964. The Mavericks rolled over Nashua 61-11 in Hinsdale Dec. 15 and followed that with a 60-12 win over Dodson the next night in Whitewater.     Glasgow’s wrestling team sits at number six in the Class B/C Wrestling Coaches Power Poll released Dec. 13. Four Scottie boys made the rankings: Khye Gamas, William Kirkland, Michael King and Mason Donaldson. Gamas is ranked third at 138 lbs. and Kirkland sits in fifth at 145 lbs.
