    In the season of giving, Glasgow residents did just that this past weekend as nearly $40,000 - $39,749 to be exact - was collected from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Dec. 1, for the annual Block of Bucks event. Volunteers braved below-zero temperatures and even the wind on Dec. 1 to stand at Glasgow’s two downtown intersections collecting money for the annual event.     The Glasgow Chamber hosted "A Candyland Christmas" on Dec. 3 with the Christmas Stroll and Parade of Lights.     The Glasgow High School Student Council (STUCO) members held their 24th annual Remembrance Tree program at the Pioneer Museum on Dec. 4. STUCO members, led by President Lane Thompson, welcomed those in attendance, which included Deacon Ed Malone, from St. Raphael's Catholic Church, who gave the evening's address.
