The Valley County Sheriff’s Office has reported that the charge of Deliberate Homicide against John Ersness has been dismissed without prejudice by Valley County Justice Court. The request to dismiss was made by Valley County Attorney Dylan Jensen. Ersness had been charged with deliberate homicide following his arrest on Sept. 27, after his brother had been found dead in his home at Fort Peck following an alleged altercation between the two. The Valley County Health Department was recently awarded a $5,000 Barclay-Giel Seed Grant in order to improve their family planning program and to promote oral health in the community. The Glasgow Evangelical Church, 152 Aberdeen St. Glasgow, is once again serving as a collection site for Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. The church will be open for collecting on Monday, Nov. 12, through Monday, Nov. 19. Landon Lee Costin, 25, a beekeeper, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2018, tragically in Gunnison, Colo., leaving us empty and heartbroken.
