Assembly of God Pastor Tom Fauth was sworn in as the new Valley County Chaplain by Sheriff Tom Boyer on Sept. 29, in the Valley County Courthouse basement courtroom. The red hand on my face represents Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons, for all women, men and children. I wanted to do the hand because I feel not a lot of people know what the hand means. People don't see this movement as often as they should. I want to help make this movement more known to people on and off the reservation. Alice Darlene Jones was born by midwife on Sept. 27, 1931, to Albert Nelson and Ida Hookland. On Friday, Oct. 7, 2022, Darlene, 91, passed at Valley View Home in Glasgow, Mont., on to the Glory of Life Everlasting and into the arms of Jesus. Dale Robert Squires left this earth unexpectedly on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022, after a tragic accident. Born on Dec. 20, 1962, at Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital in Glasgow, Mont., Dale enjoyed early life on the Hi-Line. He briefly played hockey, but it was another sport that called to him.
