    Glasgow XC hits the Sidney Invitational on Saturday after hitting a speed bump last week in Havre. A week after the Scotties blazed through flat Fort Peck Kiwanis Park course in their own invitational, their times were bound to rise at the somewhat hilly MSU-Northern course. And they did.   • Play Ball! World Series Books Return

    The Glasgow Area Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture is again offering World Series Books to help the chamber continue their sponsorship of high school sports tournaments here in Glasgow. The books are on sale now and can be purchased from the chamber or any chamber board member, including Mike Pehlke, Paul Koski, Stan Ozark, Sam Mudlin, Bethanie Knight, Melissa Allen, Terry Colbrese, Gil Johnson, Shawn Andersyn, Erin Aune, Josh Sillerud, Gregg Hunter, Lisa Olk and Ryan Fast.   • High School Rodeo, Sept. 20

    Trevor Clark rides bareback bronc durng the youth rodeo at the fairgrounds. While none of the young cowboys were able to qualify for time during the round that took place Sept. 20, they did give it a good run for their money. The Montana High School Rodeo Association and Youth Rodeo Association helped kids compete in the rodeo and kept some in the crowds entertained with good old-fashioned fun.
