    Frazer Frazer’s cross high school country teams competed at the Poplar Invitational Sept. 3, though neither team fielded enough runners to qualify for a team score. Ty Fourstar and Joseph Beston ran the boys race. Fourstar ran a 27:47.85 for 52nd place and Beston placed 55th with a time of 34:29.90. On the girls side, Angel Nelligan and Shakira Beston competed.     Volleyball The GMS volleyball teams played Sidney Sept. 2 and attended the Wolf Point Jamboree Sept. 3. Glasgow seventh grade defeated Sidney 25-17,25-8, 15-11 then fell 25-23, 18-25, 16-18. In Wolf Point the seventh graders defeated Poplar 25-13, 25-18 and Harlem 27-29, 25-17, 15-9.     George Wright, 99, of Laurel, Mont., formerly of Hinsdale, Mont., passed away Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2022, in Billings, Mont. A graveside service is planned for 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022, at Hillview Cemetery with Pastor Doris Tollefson officiating.     I want to address a rumor floating around Glasgow that says arrestees are being released from jail because of COVID and that the public is not being notified. This rumor is absolutely False! It is true that we have had a run of Covid in the detention center. We originally escaped the initial thrust of Covid in 2020 and were doing quite well with our procedures for cleaning and disinfecting. However, just like each of us, Covid caught up to us.
