The Eastern Montana Community Mental Health Center (EMCMHC), based in Miles City, has announced they are partnering with Rimrock in Billings, to provide enhanced addiction and mental illness treatment in eastern Montana. Currently, EMCMHC provides services in 17 eastern Montana communities, including Glasgow. Kerry Lynn West passed away on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019, in San Antonio, Texas, from complications with cancer. The weather seems as though it just doesn't want us to harvest our wheat. First the cool month of June delayed the start of the crop. Now the cool, wet August has delayed the ripening of the wheat. The Glasgow Scottie varsity volleyball team traveled to Choteau this past weekend, Aug. 30 and 31, to participate in the Choteau Invitational, their first competition of the season. The Scottie boys and girls cross country teams traveled to Billings for the Billings Invitational on Aug. 30. The meet marked the opening competition for the Scotties with the boys placing 16 overall for varsity and 14 overall for JV. The girls varsity ran only three competitors and did not receive a team score, but the JV girls came in at 13 overall. A group of superheros and their sidekicks swooped into Sunnyside on Sept. 1 to conquer the course in the Superhero golf tournament. For nine holes of scramble play, the young heroes and their adult sidekicks battled it out on the links. Glasgow's Middle School cross country team opened what they hope to be an eight-race season with a good showing against other Hi-Line and North Dakota schools Aug. 30 in Wolf Point.
