The Glasgow City Council is in the process of passing a new city ordinance to increase penalties associated with weedy lots. Ordinance No. 968 will amend the city’s already existing weed ordinance to increase fees for non-compliance in an effort to increase compliance with the lot standards. The Glasgow City-County Library will not be having any end of the summer reading program parties as originally planned. All ages participating in the summer reading program will need to have their activity sheets and bingo sheets turned in by 7 p.m, Wednesday, July 22. Darlene (Stenbakken) Durell, of Nashua, Mont., at 83 years young, passed away peacefully at her home Sunday, July 5, 2020, after a very short battle with cancer with several family members by her side. No services are planned and cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later time on the family farm. In 2020 we had a total of 60 kids with a total of 154 fish caught. Each participant received a free T-shirt provided by the sponsors.
