Local children participated in a summer art camp taught by Sara (Wittmayer) Wesen at the Wheatgrass Arts and Gallery, June 17 through June 27. Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital is now providing a new service to babies born at the hospital and their families. In partnership with Jennifer Ray Photography, every baby born at the hospital will be provided a "Fresh 48" complimentary photo session, where one free digital image will be e-mailed to parents with the option available to purchase others. In an unscheduled meeting of the Glasgow School Board June 21, Superintendent of Glasgow Schools Bob Connors resigned his position. He will be leaving to take the superintendent job for the Bozeman School District. The Bozeman School District oversees the education of some 7,000 students compared to the 850 students in Glasgow. The call came in around 4 a.m. Friday morning, June 21. By the time Nashua firefighters arrived at the house at 416 2nd Street in Nashua, the structure was fully engulfed in flames. Though firefighters from Long Run Fire Department also responded, the single family home was completely destroyed. Everyone in the home was able to evacuate though one individual suffered burns to the arm and chest. Dear Editor, The organizing committee for the Northeast Montana Relay For Life has made a change in their activities. What this means is that we will no longer be having a Relay For Life event in Glasgow. The American Cancer Society has made changes in their operations that have affected us. We were no longer getting the support staff help out of the Billings office (didn't have that the past two relays), they no longer offer lodging and gas assistance for cancer patients that needed to travel...

After 68 years of life, the last four of them spent courageously fighting cancer, Wesley “Wes” Novak passed away on Friday, May 3, 2019, at Benefis Healthcare in Great Falls, Mont., with his wife by his side. The Glasgow City-County Library's summer reading program, "A Universe of Stories" is officially underway. The Glasgow Kiwanis Swim Team (GKST) competed in Roundup, June 22 and 23. According to head coach Nicole Arnold, the team had a fantastic meet.
