    The Glasgow Reds baseball team traveled to North Dakota to play in the Watford City Tournament this past weekend and finished in second place. Monday evening they hosted the Post 49 Bulls for a makeup doubleheader, rescheduled after last Tuesday's inclement weather, and won both home games.     UPDATED AT 1:40 p.m. - Due to unforeseen technical issues at our printing facility in Havre, the June 16 edition of the Glasgow Courier has been delayed. The printing staff has been able to get the machines working again, and expect to have the current issue delivered late tonight.   • Deadlines For Ads, Legals, Classifieds, Obits Have Changed

    Our printing press in Havre has changed the time when we must have our completed newspaper sections to them to 9 a.m. on Tuesdays. Because we are losing an entire day of work on our end, we must move the deadlines for all ads, classifieds, obituaries, funeral notices and legals to 5 p.m. on Fridays before the publication date. This will allow us to get them on the page when the sections are being finalized on Mondays. On dates when Mondays fall on a Federal Holiday, the deadline will be at 5... Full story

    The Glasgow Kiwanis Thunder Swim Team kicked off their 2021 season in Harlem on June 5-6 and followed that up with a trip to Glendive June 12-13. Despite a few hurdles, the team has started their season strong under second-year coach Ethan Shrader.   • Valley County Reaches Zero Active COVID-19 Cases

    Valley County residents can breath a sigh of relief with the latest news from the Valley County Health Department. As of June 14, there were zero active cases of COVID-19 within the county. To date, 895 persons have recovered from the disease or are no longer infectious. There have been a total of 913 confirmed cases here, with 18 deaths reported.     It was Cari Knolls lucky day last week as she learned she had been drawn to compete in the 2022 Special Olympics, USA. She had no idea she had been chosen when waiting with a crowd of well-wishers last week at the Milk River Activity Center. Scott Held, Montana Special Olympics Sports Director, drove all the way to Glasgow from Helena to give Knolls the good news in person.
