Valley View Nursing Home (VVNH) administrator Wes Thompson spoke to the Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital Board on April 27 requesting consideration to aid the nursing home financially in their operating expenses. The Valley County Community Pool Campaign recently received a generous anonymous donation of $250,000, now making the total raised towards the funding of a new swimming pool in Glasgow, as of May 9, $1,9501,141 of the $3,304,000 goal. We’ve finally had a wonderful transfusion of rain to bring life back to our parched land. It’s wonderful to see the prairies and pastures turning green again.
