The National Weather Service in Glasgow held a flood briefing earlier today, April 13, to discuss the current weather conditions as well as what to expect from flooding. Today's rain/snow event saw a half to 3/4 inch liquid precip with less than 2 inches of snow in the Valley with chances for over 6 inches in northern Valley County. Dear Editor, I live in Wolf Point where I work as a caregiver for my daughter, Mindy, who is now 49 years old. She just had a birthday and was only supposed to live for five to six years so every year is a celebration for us. Mindy was born with a condition called Spinobiffida and is totally handicapped. Free Tree Day is funded by the generous businesses and individuals of Valley County including contributing organizations such as the MSU Extension Service of Valley County as a sponsoring agency and also the Gumbo Gals Garden Club, of Nashua. On Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2023, "Vy" Violet Mae (Gardner) Graham, loving daughter, sister, wife, aunt, mother, GramsBear (Grandma) and Great-Grandmother received her angel wings in heaven, just shy of 85 years young. Vy was a longtime resident of Renton, Wash., after leaving Glasgow, Mont., where she was raised. She was laid to rest by immediate family on Jan. 26. I despise printers. They’re finicky, they’re expensive to run, and they encourage wasteful behaviors such as printing documents which could more conveniently remain digital.
