Now its ninth year of auctioning a gun to raise funds for scholarships, the Hi-Line Sportsmen's annual fundraising banquet continues to grow and grow. Despite falling on a sports-heavy weekend, the banquet drew approximately 180 outdoorsmen and women to St. Raphael's Parish in Glasgow. It turns out the fight really isn't all that bad as mascots from North Country, Nashua and Lustre Christian demonstrated this past weekend. They entertained the crowd with their "Mock Mascot War." The Lustre Lion strolled over to the Nashua Porcupines fans and proceeded to cheer with the cheerleaders, while the Porcupine did the same with the Lustre fans. The Montana Department of Commerce announced February 10 that eight Montana communities will share $100,000 of grant funding to revitalize Main Street businesses and downtowns.
