The Hinsdale FFA Chapter does community service projects in Hinsdale each year. The chapter maintains the FFA Park, learning lawn mower safety and learning how to operate the riding mower each spring. The FFA Park is located on US 2 and Montana Avenue (Main Street in Hinsdale). Hinsdale FFA Agronomy and Livestock Judging team swept the Big Muddy FFA District Career Development Events (CDE) on Oct. 3 in Richey, Mont. Ten chapters with 110 FFA members competed. Hinsdale FFA coach, Patti Armbrister said, "I was so excited to have the agronomy and livestock teams win. The amazing part of the agronomy team win, was no one person carried the team.
