  • Dr. Anne Williams to Retire from FMDH

    After 32 years working as a general surgeon at Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital, Dr. Anne Williams has announced her retirement. Her dedication and achievements will not be forgotten. A farewell party will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, in the FMDH lower level conference room. All friends, coworkers, and well-wishers are welcome to attend.   • Shopko Pharmacy Closing June 6

    Effective June 6, at 4 p.m, Shopko Pharmacy will be closing. The Shopko main store will continue to remain open and operating as usual. Starting June 7, 5th Avenue Pharmacy & Gift will be able to fill prescriptions and refills for Shopko customers. Records and files will be transferred, as well as current insurance information.
