  • Fifth Annual Slam the Dam

    The Fort Peck Senior Citizens are sponsoring the fifth annual fun walk/run, “Slam the Dam 5 (Run with the Wind)” across the face of Fort Peck Dam on Saturday, March 16. Registration starts at 9 a.m., with the cost being $5 per person. The event is for all ages, however bikes or dogs are not welcome. Students under the age of 18 must have a parent sign the registration/release form. Every year we have had a great turnout—even last year when it was foggy and cold to start.   • Fort Peck Senior Citizens Turkey Dinner Potluck

    The Fort Peck Senior Citizens will have their annual turkey dinner potluck on Tuesday, Dec. 18, at noon at the Fish Hatchery. Turkey, dressing, potatoes and gravy will be provided. Bring complementary potluck items. A 50/50 drawing will be held also. Hope to see all seniors there....

    The Fort Peck Senior Citizens will be having a pancake breakfast at Shelter 4 in Fort Peck from 8 to 11:30 a.m., on Saturday, Sept. 29. The meal is $5 for two pancakes, three sausages, coffee, cocoa or water and all are invited. During breakfast, the Glasgow Invitational Cross Country meet will start at Kiwanis Park in Fort Peck at 9 a.m., with kids walking/jogging the course.   • Slam the Dam Takes on Another Year

    The Fort Peck Senior Citizens are sponsoring the fun walk/run across the face of Fort Peck Dam on March 17, 2018. It is called “SLAM THE DAM 4: Run with the Wind”. This is a non-competitive walk/run, and no times will be kept. On the morning of March 17, the committee members will decide which direction the walk/run will go based entirely on the direction the wind is blowing that day.
