WEDNESDAY- MAY 2

7 – 9:30 p.m. - Senior Citizens’ Prom at the Glasgow Senior Citizens’ Center. Cost is $3 per person or $5 for couples. Students from GHS Student Council will be there as dancing partners.

THURSDAY – MAY 3

7:30 a.m. - Valley County Free Tree Day at the east side of the courthouse.

9:30 a.m. - The Nashua Community is invited to the Ladies’ Coffee Hour every Thursday at the Nashua Senior Center.

2 p.m. - Valley County Transportation Advisory Committee Meeting at the Valley County Senior Citizen Center, 328 4th Ave. S, Glasgow.

American Legion and Auxiliary Poppy Days.

8 a.m. - Special Olympics Torch Run - VC Sheriff’s Office, Glasgow Police, and other law enforcement agencies will carry the torch from the Cottonwood Inn to Triple A Glass.

3 – 7 p.m. - Glasgow Gun Show at the Civic Center. There will be firearms and accessories, antiques, coins, fishing tackle, crafts and miscellaneous items. Cost is $3 per day or $5 for all three days, with those under 12 are free accompanied by an adult.

SATURDAY- MAY 05

Schuetzen Match and Vintage Military Match at the Valley County Rifle and Pistol Range, off of Route 24 heading North at the Johnson Road turnoff.

7 – 10 a.m. - Valley County Senior Citizens will be serving breakfast the first Saturday of every month. Cost is $5 per person or $7.50 for those with big appetites.

9 a.m. - 6 p.m. - Glasgow Gun Show at the Civic Center. There will be firearms and accessories, antiques, coins, fishing tackle, crafts and miscellaneous items. Cost is $3 per day or $5 for all 3 days, with those under 12 are free accompanied by an adult.

4 p.m. - Bonnie City Blues and Brews at the Cottonwood Inn. Doors open at 4 p.m. and live music starts at 6 p.m.

SUNDAY- MAY 06

10 a.m. - Episcopal Workship Service at 2 Lakeview Drive, St. Marie. If you have any questions, call Alice Hawkins at 524-3397.

5 p.m. - Saint Marie Fire Department Training. If you would like to join the St. Marie Fire Department or have any questions, call St. Marie Fire Chief August Aho at 263-9733.

MONDAY – MAY 07

6 p.m. - Hinsdale FFA 85th annual FFA Banquet at the Hinsdale school. There will be a free dinner, awards ceremony and silent auction of material items that memebrs have made in the shop.

TUESDAY – MAY 08

5:30 p.m. - Valley County Democrats monthly meeting in the Loaded Toad every second Tuesday of the month.

6 – 10 a.m. - 2018 Valley View Home Health Screening Event at Valley View Home.

1 p.m. - Valley County Conservation District monthly board meeting at the USDA Service Center conference room in Glasgow. All meetings are open to the public. For more information, please call 406-228-4321, ext. 101.

1 p.m. - 5 p.m. - AARP Presents “Drive Smart” course for participants age 50+ at the FMDH South Wing Meeting Room. Call Amber at 228-3601 to sign-up or for more info.

12:15 p.m. - Weight Watchers begins a new 26-week series at the FMDH South Wing Conference Room There will be two meeting times at 12:15 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., every Thursday until Nov. 1. For more info., call Julie Lawson at 228-3626 with any questions.

6 p.m. - GHS Class of 1978 reunion meeting at Sam and Jeff’s. All classmates are encouraged to attend.
