Mary Estella Cilz

Mary Estella (Moseley) Cilz, 86, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 5, 2018, at Valley View Nursing Home in Glasgow, Mont.

Family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, April 13, at Bell Mortuary in Glasgow. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 14, at Faith Lutheran Church with Pastor John Vallie officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery, with a luncheon following burial at the VFW Fort Peck Post #3107 in Glasgow.

She was born May 17, 1931, in Dover, Mont., to Rose Evelyn Carver and Charles Louis Moseley. She attended schools in Great Falls, Judith Gap, Bainville and Glasgow, graduating from Glasgow High in 1949.

She met and married Edward Tade Jr. in 1950. From that union four children were born; Larry Edward Tade, Jerry Lee Tade, Debra Kay Tade and Vicki Jo Tade. They were divorced in 1967.

In 1970, she married Arthur H. Cilz, a very kind and loving man.

She worked for Valley County in the clerk and recorders office as a deputy clerk for 30 years and she retired in 1994. In 2014, she moved to Prairie Ridge Village where she renewed many old friendships and thoroughly enjoyed bingo, horse-racing and all the other activities.

She enjoyed attending volleyball games and basketball games when her grandkids played, and enjoyed visiting with grandchildren and great-grandchildren whenever possible. She enjoyed traveling, camping, sports on TV, baking, flower gardening and any activities at her church. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Glasgow and served as treasurer for over 20 years, where she shared her love with her Lord Jesus Christ with her church family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Cilz; her mother, Rose E. Bretzke; her father, Charles L. Moseley; a baby brother, William Ralph Moseley; one sister, Betty R. (Don) Abern; two stepsons, Henry Cilz and Bobby Cilz; one step-grandson, Scott Siers; four brothers-in-law, Fred Cilz, Ralph Anderson, Vernon Anderson and Rupert Cilz; her stepfather, Leo (Bertha) Bretzke; and three sisters-in law, Laura Anderson of Salem, Ore., Ella Anderson of Minot and Arliene Cilz of Rugby, N.D.

She is survived by one brother, Jim (Carol) Moseley of Whitefish; two sons, Larry E. (Beverly) Tade of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., and Jerry (Teresa) Tade of Glasgow; two daughters, Debra Tade of Glasgow and Vicki Jo (Sean) Beaulieu of Missoula; two stepchildren, Marlin (Debbie) Cilz and Kristine (Jim) Webb, all of Malta; 28 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews; as well as her loving church family.

Memorials may be made in Mary's name to Faith Lutheran Church of Glasgow, or Prairie Ridge Village of Glasgow.
