Serving Proudly As The Voice Of Valley County Since 1913
Dear Reader,
Courier can be defined in two ways. First, as a person who transports goods or documents. Second, as a person employed to guide or assist a group of people, usually tourists. With that in mind, I wanted to take this opportunity to provide clarity to the Courier’s ideal mission for Valley County.
As the Voice of Valley County since 1913, the Courier has served tirelessly to cover and report the events of our community. We have sought to provide those messages and to deliver the information you need to do your job as citizens. I believe the Courier has done that remarkably well, and I promise we will continue to do so.
We hope to keep bringing the information that makes our community great to the people of Valley County, and those wayward former residents that have set out into the larger world but still long for the news from home. We want to spotlight our community. We want to highlight our successes and discuss our failures. We want to provide an honest and integral part of the community’s dialogue and we want to do it for you, our readers, our neighbors, and our friends.
That is what The Glasgow Courier represents and that is what we will continue to deliver from us to you. We are after all Couriers of our community’s message to the world, and we take that responsibility very seriously.
Regards,
A.J. Etherington
