Headstart Brings Joy to Seniors

Glasgow's Headstart children brought holiday cheer to local senior citizens during the lunch hour at the Senior Citizens' Center on Dec. 21. Children sang songs such as "Twinkle Twinkle" and "Jingle Bells," bringing smiles to all in attendance. After singing, the boys and girls were able to receive some early Christmas gifts from Santa, while the seniors enjoyed good food and music by Dave Pippin and his band.

Bridgette Lapke, Shane Kelly, Maggie Longtree, Sister Jackson, Sister Stout, Howard Bigelow, David and Diane Sergent, Sister Larson of Williston, N.D., Shelly Romo, Charlie Romo, Tim Grandchamp, Paul Wetz, Pat Neuleib, were instrumental in making the lunch a success, with meal preparation, dishwashing, clean-up and navigating Santa and his elves to the center.
