Serving Proudly As The Voice Of Valley County Since 1913

Franklin R. Partridge

Franklin R. Partridge, 65, passed away at his home in Chinook on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017.

Frank wishes to invite all his family and friends to a celebration of life at The Palace Bar in Havre at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28. The last round is on Frank.

He was born in Glasgow, Mont., to Richard "Pat" and Ethel Partridge on Oct. 30, 1951. He was a 1969 graduate of Glasgow High School. During his 65 years of life, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and golf with his friends and family and I guess, plenty of mischief, as the stories are continuing to come. We will not forget to mention his Star Trek series. He had the ability to know just enough about a subject to make people think he was an expert in the field. Plumbing, electrical, construction, just about anything there was, he had some input that made him sound like he had the perfect solution.

He married Marie Butts in September 1969, and worked at Marv's Conoco. They later moved to the Glasgow Air Base to work for Tumpane. They had three boys, Chris, Jason and Josh. In 1976, he moved with Tumpane to Tehran, Iran. There he met and married Touran Partridge. They moved back to the states in 1978.

He hired on with Burlington Northern Railroad in 1978. He later married Shannon Johnson. He retired from BNSF in 2011.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Touran and his parents, Pat and Ethel; and two sisters, Sandra Sandidge and Shelia Coates.

Survivors include four sons, Chris Partridge, Jason Partridge and Josh Partridge, all of Glasgow and a stepson, Logan Bergeron of Havre; four siblings, Sharon Ferguson and her husband, Dave, of Helena, Susan Jaworoski and her husband, Richard, of Denver, Colo., Patti Fought and her husband, Randy, of Perrysberg, Ohio, and John Partridge and his wife, Debi, of Fort Peck; too many grandchildren, nieces and nephews (space cadets) to mention.
