THURSDAY – SEPT. 7

9:30 a.m. - The Nashua Community is invited to the Ladies’ Coffee Hour every Thursday at the Nashua Senior Center.

FRIDAY – SEPT. 8

Noon – Regular monthly meeting for the Nashua Senior Citizens. There will be a potluck meal at noon, with the business meeting following. All seniors are invited.

5:30 p.m. - Annual Prairie Ridge Family Appreciation Day. Live music, free food, games and fun. For more info., call 228-2208.

7 p.m. - Ecumenical Evening Worship Service at Saint Marie Community Room. More info, call Alice Hawkins at 524-3397.

SATURDAY – SEPT. 9

Noon – Sand Drags at the NE Montana Fairgrounds. Beer gardens and food vendors will be on site. Cost at the gate is $5 per person.

5 p.m. - The Annual Nashua Fireman’s Ball at the Nashua Civic Center. Pulled pork, baked beans, baked potatoes and coleslaw will be served beginning at 5 p.m., with a $6 per plate suggested. A street dance with Trial By Fire will begin at 7 p.m. All are welcome to attend.

SUNDAY – SEPT. 10

Social Cards and Game Day will be on the second Sunday from now on, with visiting, dominoes, cards and other games being played at the Senior Citizens’ Center in Nashua. Everyone is welcome.

Family Integrated Sunday Service is held every Sunday at 175 Ash Street, #B. Pastor Wendell Shrock’s phone number is 406-939-0263. Sunday School at 10 a.m. and Worship Service at 11 a.m.

Noon – Mud Bog at the NE Montana Fairgrounds. Beer gardens and food vendors will be on site. Cost at the gate is $5 per person.

MONDAY - SEPT. 11

4:30-6:30 p.m. - Indian Taco Supper at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Nashua. (Suppers served every second Monday through April). Take-outs available.

TUESDAY - SEPT. 12

7 p.m. - The Northeast Montana Land & Mineral Owners Assoc. meet in Culbertson at the RC Complex, 307 Broadway. The meeting is open to the public.

7-8 p.m. - Ladies’ Bible Study at 195 Cedar Circle in St. Marie. Questions, Sherry Childers 524-7368.

WEDNESDAY – SEPT. 13

10 a.m. - 2:15 p.m. - American Red Cross Blood Drive at FMDH. To reduce wait times, donors are encouraged to sign up for an appointment by downloading the free Red Cross Blood Donor App, visiting redcrossblood.org or called 1-800-733-2767. Donors are also encouraged to complete the RapidPass online at redcrossblood.org/RapidPass.

1 p.m. - Foot care the second Wednesday of the month at Nashua Senior Center. Sign up by calling Shirley Ersland, 746-3384.

1 p.m. - Valley County Conversation District monthly board meeting at the USDA Service Center conference room in Glasgow. Meeting open to the public. Questions, 406-228-4321, ext. 101.

1-4 p.m. - VA Service officers will be visiting with veterans interested in applying for benefits at the VA Clinic in Glasgow. Bring a copy of your discharge paperwork (DD214) with you.

6-8 p.m. - St. Marie Volunteer Fire Department training. If you would be interested in joining the department, please call Chief Rob Esaias at 524-8113 or Assistant Chief August Aho at 363-9733.

Noon – Informational meeting on the Montana Postural Care Project and the care they provide at Hi-Line Home Programs, 605 3rd Ave S.

MONDAY – SEPT. 18

3:30 – 5:30 p.m. - Auditions for the Missoula Children’s Theatre production of “Peter and Wendy” at Irle School. TUESDAY – SEPT. 19

Noon – 4 p.m. - Valley Community Food Bank, serving only Valley County residents is open the third Tuesday of each month. If this is your first time applying for assistance, bring a photo ID and proof of physical residence. For more info., contact Nancy Bowman at 263-1253.
