6 – 8 p.m. - Blackbeard’s Pirate Dance at Prairie Ridge Village with live music by The Classics.

SATURDAY – JULY 15

6th Infantry Encampment, all day at Fort Buford and the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center. The Sixth Infantry re-enactors will perform military drill demonstrations, followed by a 2:30 p.m. cannon demonstration and a 3 p.m. telegraph demonstration. A dance at 7 p.m. features Sunrise Brass.

10 a.m. - 7 p.m. - 8th Annual Alvie Hallock Fun Run on Fort Peck Lake. Meet at the Marina from 10 – noon, Head to York Island from 1 – 3 p.m. and back to the Fort Peck Marina from 4-6 p.m. For more info., call Randy at 263-2193.

2 p.m. - GHS Alumni Class of 1955 is celebrating their 80th Birthday at Sunnyside Country Club. For more info. call 228-8540 or 228-4962.

6 p.m. - Montana Warriors on the Water Presents the Southern Drawl Band at the Fort Peck Marina. There will be a live auction during the concert.

6th Infantry Encampment, all day at Fort Buford and the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center, also a fashion show at 1 p.m. showcases styles common during the late 1800s.

11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. - Nashua Senior Citizens’ Family Meal for the Community at the Nashua Senior Center with cards and games following the meal the third Sunday of each month.

Last activity sheet and reading log for the summer reading program is available to pick up at the Glasgow City-County Library.

Noon - The Fort Peck Senior Citizens’ quarterly meeting and potluck at the Fish Hatchery.

2 p.m. - “Bridges Everywhere” program at Glasgow City-County Library for children ages 7-12.

7 p.m. - Informational Meeting for the “Vote Yes Valley View Home” Campaign at the Fort Peck Interpretive Center.

WEDNEDAY – JULY 19

Little Campers is planning fun for the whole family. Local author OJ Taylor will be on hand to read and sign her book, Mrs. B. Salsberry Brothers will be set up in front of the store for an afternoon of sliding and bouncing, weather permitting.

1 p.m. - Ikebana International Chapter No. 8 celebrates 60th Anniversary with presentation by Jane Redmon. For more info., call 406-367-3545.
