County Brief

This week, Valley County Commissioners approved the purchase of four used Self Contained Breathing Apparatuses (SCBA) for the fire department. The SCBA’s to be purchased are certified and have a seven-year life span. The equipment will cost $1,600.

The commissioners also committed $3,000 to the Valley County Fair Board. The funds will go towards repairs in the bathrooms at the fair grounds. Funding for this project were accumulated through the option tax.
