Scotties Play Wolf Point Greens

Moon, Myrick Repeat as Leaders

The Scottie golfers hit the greens in Wolf Point for the Poplar Invitational April 18, then returned April 21 for the Wolf Point Invitational.

The boys improved their placing from second-place to first-place with the extra days of practice, while the girls maintained their placing of second place for both meets.

Scottie sophomore Blaine Myrick is emerging as a strong leader for the boys this season, shooting a 92 at the Poplar meet for seventh place overall, followed by an 87 at the Wolf Point meet for second place.

Lexie Pehlke and Heidi Moon have been putting up consistent scores for the Lady Scotties, trading places for the top spot. This week, Moon shot a 107 for seventh-place, followed by a 103 for fourth.

Poplar Results:

Boys (2nd): Blaine Myrick, 7th, 92; Cody Ross, 8th, 95; Oden Hallock, 10th, 96; Kaden Fossum, 100; Jeremiah Wethern, 104.

Girls (2nd): Heidi Moon, 5th, 107; Fallon Larsen, 8th, 112; Taylor Palm, 10th, 113; Tayte Prewett, 133.

Wolf Point Results:

Boys (1st): Blaine Myrick, 2nd, 87; Oden Hallock, 5th, 98; Kaden Fossum, 6th, 100; Britt Fairclough, 9th, 106; Jordan Billingsley, 116.

Girls (2nd): Heidi Moon, 4th, 103; Lexie Pehlke, 5th, 104; Taylor Palm, 7th, 112; Fallon Larsen, 8th, 113.
