The Ice Dawgs were able to answer with two Zoey Crater goals, the second one off an assist from Provencher. The game ended with a final score of Missoula 5, Glasgow 2. Glasgow had five penalties and Missoula had three.

Coming out of pool play on Saturday, the Flathead Lady Fusion crossed sticks with the Glasgow Lady Ice Dawgs. The Lady Fusion took the lead with a goal, but Glasgow took it back with goals by Crater and S. Lagerquist, with K. Lagerquist assisting both.

Flathead scored the next four goals of the contest to bring the score to 5-2 at the end of the second period.

To open the third period, Glasgow's Brooklyn Schmidt scored goal number three for the Ice Dawgs. Her goal was followed with another by teammate K. Lagerquist and a Krumwiede assist. The Fusion hit one between the pipes to bring the score to 6-4.

K. Lagerquist scored again from an Emma Cook pass, followed by two more from the Lady Fusion. Crater scored the final goal of the contest off Provencher for a Flathead 9, Glasgow 6 final. Five Ice Dawgs and two Lady Fusion spent time in their penalty boxes.

In consolation action, the Missoula Lady Bruins topped the Glasgow Ice Dawgs in an exciting consolation game that was still undecided after double overtime.

The Lady Bruins opened with the first goal of the game. Glasgow's Crater answered with a goal from a Pehlke assist at the end of the first period. While the Lady Bruins pulled into the lead when they hit the back of the net in the second period, Crater knotted things up with an unassisted short-handed goal with 3:02 remaining in the third.

With the game tied in regulation, the overtime slugfest started. Missoula played an aggressive three-on-five defense to clear Glasgow's power play, then Glasgow went on a four-five penalty kill defense with a player in the box in each overtime period.

Missoula's goalie Piper Linson saved eight of 10 shots and Glasgow's Elizabeth Nyquist saved 23 of 25.

The Lady Bruins put two shootout attempts in and the Ice Dawgs placed one in the Missoula net with Missoula ultimately winning the over two-hour battle to take third place in the state.
