Dorthy Paden

Dorthy Bell (Butcher) Paden, 88, formerly of Glasgow, Mont., wife of the late Walter Paden, passed away Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016, at the home of her son, Burt Paden, in Lawrenceburg, Ky.

A memorial service will be held on Dec. 20, at 11 a.m. at the Lawrenceburg Church of Christ, 558 S. Main Street, Lawrenceburg, KY 40342.

Born April 13, 1928, in Brownfield, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Pauline (Jeter) Butcher. Mrs. Paden was a former Tupperware manager in Northeast Montana. She was an amazing Christian woman and member of the Church of Christ in Glasgow. She lived a full life and will be missed greatly.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Anita Paden; two grandchildren; one brother and three sisters.

Survivors include 11 children, Darwin and Gayle Paden of Libby, Bonnie and Paul Rozmarynowycz of Versailles, Ky., Wilma and Mark Dye of Pilot Point, Texas, Esther Atchley of Wolfforth, Texas, Nancy and Rocky Russell of Versailles, Ky., Annette Paden of Lubbock, Texas, Janette and Ed Winsor of Carrollton, Texas, Burt and Kim Paden of Lawrenceburg, Ky., Gloria and Tim Lawhead of Waxahachie, Texas, Frank and Kerry Paden of Lawrenceburg, and Nathan and Cathy Paden of Slaton, Texas; 32 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and their spouses; three sisters; and countless extended family members.
