Standing Rock

We as a country need to stand up and fight. We have a lot to think about: who is going to be the next

President, when troops are coming home, when will we be attacked by outsiders, etc.? Everybody in every day life has more worries than just what's going on in day-to–day life, they also have to worry about what is going to happen to us as a country.

Still, not many stops to think about what will happen if crews get the go ahead to lay the Dakota Access Pipeline. The pipeline is up and running has already had brakes that have spilled oil into the water, and but supporters want to put in another? We have to stop and think about what this may do to our land, how this may affect our country as a whole.

We need to stand with Standing Rock and stop the pipeline. If we don’t now, we may never have clean water to drink, for our children, for cooking, or for cleaning. The oil from any spills that may occur will soak into our soil and poison it, an contaminates all the things that we grow in our soil to help nourish our bodies. We need to stop turning a blind eye and stop taking clean water for advantage or one day we will not have any more clean water. Then, where will we be in life without clean water to drink, to clean, or even to grow the plants we need to help us survive. So, I encourage you to stand with Standing Rock, even if you cannot be there. Stand and protest for clean water. This does not only affect the Standing Rock Reservation, it affects everybody in our country, including our kids and future generations to come. Help protect them now.
