Gloria Lund

Gloria (Ingalls) Lund was born on Dec. 10, 1928, in Bagley, Minn., to Warren and Mabel Ingalls, the youngest of three children. She passed away at age 87 on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016, at Aspen Meadows in Billings, Mont.

The public is invited to the interment at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at the Greenwood Cemetery in Wolf Point. Funeral services to follow the interment at 2 p.m. at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point.

She graduated from Bagley High School in 1946 and graduated from Teacher Training at East Grand Forks in 1948. She later got her bachelor of science in education from Eastern Montana College in 1968.

She came to Montana to teach school and met and married Robert "Buddy" Lund June 1, 1949. To this union were born David, Vicki and Joyce Lund. They made their home 30 miles north of Wolf Point. She taught school for 20 years, the last 15 at Lustre.

In 1987, they moved to Billings. She worked for Valley Nursing Home for five years. She enjoyed her family, friends, reading, church, Bible studies, golfing and crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Buddy" Lund; a son, David Lund; her parents; a grandson, Travis Wiens; and one brother, Eugene Ingalls.

Survivors include Vicki Sipe and her husband, Doug, and Joyce Wall and her husband, Harry; their children, Kenneth Wiens and his wife, Kim, Candace Erickson and her husband, Brady, Racquel Skillman and her husband, Justin, Vanessa Gray and her husband, Addison, and Jaclynn Wall; great-grandchildren, Ashley and Tanner Wiens, Kylie and Tyler Erickson, Madelynn, Finley and Jay Skillman, and Chevelle Gray; a dear sister, Cleone Nelson, and her husband, Norman, of Minnesota.

Psalm 73:25. "Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you."

Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point has been entrusted with the arrangements.
