THURSDAY, SEPT. 15

5:30-8 p.m. - Homecoming Dance with refreshments and live music by “The 3 Amigos” at Prairie Ridge. The dance is free to the public.

7 p.m. - The American Legion and Auxiliary #41 will meet at the VFW Hall in Glasgow.

FRIDAY-SATURDAY

SEPT. 16-17

Glasgow High School Homecoming – The Saskatoon Police Pipes & Drums Band will be a part of the Scottie Homecoming Parade on Friday, Sept. 16, at 2:30 p.m., the Scottie Booster Club tailgate party at GHS at 6 p.m., and performing during half time of the Scottie vs. Big Timber football game. On Saturday morning the band will perform at the Kiwanis Club Pancake Breakfast at the Cottonwood Inn & Suites at 9 a.m., continue on to Valley View Home at 10 a.m., Nemont Manor at 10:30 a.m., and to Prarie Ridge at 11a.m. They will also play at the start of the varsity volleyball game against Wolf Point at approximately 3 p.m. At 5:30 p.m., the annual Pub Crawl will begin at Sunnyside Golf Course.

SUNDAY - SEPT. 18

27th Annual Bjornberg Bridge Fall Picnic. Begins with Church Service at 11:30 a.m., followed by a Potluck Style Picnic at 12:15 p.m.

9 a.m. - American Legion and Auxiliary District 1 Fall Meeting at the Glasgow Elk’s Club. Registration begins at 9 a.m., with the department program at 10 a.m. A joint banquet begins at 12 noon with a business meeting beginning at 1:30 p.m. at the Elks.

1:30 p.m. - Cards, games and visiting at the Nashua Center.

1:30 p.m. - The third Sunday of each month is a social at the Nashua Senior Center. Those attending are asked to bring snacks.

2 p.m. - Pinochle every 1st and 3rd Sunday at the Glasgow Senior Center. Everyone welcome.

TUESDAY – SEPT. 20

12 p.m. - Two Rivers Economic Growth invites the community and all members to join them at their annual Membership and Planning Luncheon at the Cottonwood Inn, Glasgow. They want to hear from you and what you’d like to see, change and/or bring to Valley County. RSVP by calling 406-697-8856 or email [email protected].

12 p.m. - The Fort Peck Senior Citizens will hold their monthly potluck at the Fish Hatchery. Plans will be finalized for the upcoming pancake breakfast.

THURSDAY – SEPT. 22

8 a.m. - Montana Business Agenda Tour at the Cottonwood Inn in Glasgow, hosted by the Montana Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture.

SATURDAY – SEPT. 24

9 a.m. - The Glasgow Invitational Cross Country Meet will be held in Fort Peck at Kiwanis Park when kids walk/jog the course; first race starts at 10 a.m.

8-11:30 a.m. - The Fort Peck Senior Citizens will be having a Pancake Breakfast at Shelter #4 in Kiwanis Park. More info, call Judy 406-480-9057.

THURSDAY – SEPT. 28

11 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Action for Eastern Montana invites you to join us as we celebrate 50 years of service in Eastern Montana. We will be celebrating on Wednesday, Sept. 28, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Senior Center in Glasgow. Action will supply the burgers, hot dogs, chips, beans, dessert and beverages.

SATURDAY – OCT. 1

5:30 p.m. - Ag Appreciation Dinner and Night of Honors at the Valley Event Center in Glasgow. Doors open at 5:30 for a no-host waterhole and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.

SUNDAY – OCT. 2

1 p.m. - Hinsdale’s Fall Festival at Hinsdale’s Legion Park. Contact Leona at Sweet Memories in Hinsdale for more info at 364-2128.

2 p.m. - Pinochle every 1st and 3rd Sunnday at the Glasgow Senior Center. Everyone welcome.

11 a.m.- Flu shots administered at the Center in Nashua.

6:30 p.m. - The Nashua Lions meets on the first Tuesday of each month at the Nashua Senior Citizens’ Center. New members are always welcome.
