WEDNESDAY – MAY 18

1-4 p.m. - Service officers for the MT Veterans Affairs will meet with veterans who are interested in applying for benefits. Bring a copy of your discharge paperwork (DD214) with you. Service officers will also be in Malta on Thursday, May 19, from 9:30-11:30 a.m., at the Malta City Hall. Veteran service officers will visit nursing homes and assisted living centers by appointment only. Call 406-265-4225 if you are interested.

THURSDAY – MAY 19

5:30-7 p.m. - A Made-in-Montana documentary about investment fraud at the Cottonwood Inn in Glasgow by Commissioner of Securities and Insurance Monica J. Lindeen. The event includes a complimentary meal for attendees. Reservations call 1-800-332-6148 or csimt.gov/fraudtour.

7 p.m. - The American Legion & Auxiliary #41 will meet at the VFW Hall in Glasgow.

FRIDAY – MAY 20

6 p.m. - Frazer High School graduation.

7 p.m. - Nashua High School graduation with a reception to follow at the Nashua Civic Center.

SATURDAY – MAY 21

4 p.m. - Opheim High School graduation in the OHS Gym.

SUNDAY – MAY 22

2 p.m. - Hinsdale High School graduation.

3 p.m. - Lustre Christian High School graduation.

MONDAY – MAY 23

4:30 p.m. - The Glasgow Education Association and the Glasgow School Board will hold an end-of-the-year gathering to honor retirees Sarah Schaldack-Slaats and Marcia Pehlke for their years of service to the Glasgow School System at the Sunnyside Golf Course. Everyone is welcome.

7 p.m. - Glasgow Middle School Spring Music Concert in the GHS Auditorium. The 6th Grade Choir and Band and 7th and 8th Grade Choir and Band will be featured.

TUESDAY – MAY 24

6-8 p.m. Tech Night at the Glasgow City-County Library hosted by Photographer Sean Heavey. The topic will be iPhone photography and it is free to the public.

7 p.m. - Northeast MT Land & Mineral Owners’ Association will meet at the Community Center in Froid. Anyone with oil- and gas-related questions is encouraged to attend. The meeting is open to the public.

2-4 p.m. - A retirement party for Terry Risa at Opheim School Library.

3 p.m. - Glasgow High School graduation.

The FMDH Foundation Open Golf Tournament at the Sunnyside Golf and Country Club in Glasgow. All entry fees and registrations must be received in the Foundation office by June 10. Registration forms can be picked up at the FMDH Office or contact Mary Kate Tihista at 228-3614.

Wilderness Walk to a Sand Arroyo at Fort Peck. Local expert Doug Smith will co-lead the group and talk about geologic history of the area.
