Temperatures to be 5-20 Degrees Below Normal

Despite a strong El Nino this winter, snow storms and cold-air outbreaks are to be expected. Both are forecasted for this upcoming weekend. NWS Glasgow is predicting light snow Thursday night into Friday. Starting Sunday, temperatures will be dropping. High temps will be between 0 and 10 above, while lows are expected to be 5 to 20 below on Sunday and Monday. Strong winds are not forecasted at this time, however any wind makes an impact on the wind chill factor at these temperatures. Dress appropriately, have a winter survival kit in your vehicle, and stay indoors when possible. For more information visit http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/ggw/ .
