7-8:15 p.m. - GriefShare weekly seminar and support group designed to help rebuild your life after the death of a loved one at the Glasgow Evangelical Church located at 152 Aberdeen St.

THURSDAY – OCT. 15

7 p.m. - The American Legion & Auxiliary #41 meet at the Glasgow VFW Hall.

FRIDAY - OCT. 16

4-7 p.m. - Glasgow’s 5th Annual Chocolate Walk. Over 20 businesses are participating with sweet treats and everything is free. Pick your poker sheets up at the Apple Trolley or Prewett Interiors the day of the event. Call Joy at the Apple Trolley for more information at 228-2915. The awards party will be held at 9 p.m. Friday at the Apple Trolley.

SATURDAY – OCT. 17

8:30 a.m. - Friends of the Pioneer Museum ask for volunteers to stuff envelopes at the VFW Hall.

10 a.m.-2 p.m. -- Tropical Rays Salon is having a “Beauty Battles Cancer” Spa Day/Cut-A-Thon with all proceeds donated to Relay For Life. No appointment necessary, walk-ins welcome. They will have a gift basket raffle, silent auction items & refreshments. Haircuts will be a minimum donation of $10 & finger/toe nail polish a minimum of $5. For more information call 228-4300.

1-3 p.m. - Free Basketball Clinic at GHS with instructors from MSU-Northern and Miles. All ages of boys and girls are welcome. Info, call Norm Braaten at 526-3270.

5-7 p.m. -- Nashua’s Annual Fireman’s Ball. Dinner will be served from 5 – 7p.m. with dance to follow. The Daryl Garrett Band will provide live music. Cost for the meal is $6.50 per person & there will be a 50/50 drawing. For more information call 406-263-9827.

6 p.m. - Women's College Basketball Exhibition Game at Glasgow High School.

TUESDAY – OCT. 20

12 noon - The Fort Peck Senior Citizens' monthly potluck and quarterly meeting at the large shelter house at Ft. Peck Lake. All are welcome to attend!

6 p.m.- Opheim Fall Music Concert at OHS gym.

WEDNESDAY – OCT. 21

5 p.m. - Opheim School Board meets.

SATURDAY – OCT. 31

The 24th Annual Turkey Trot at the Glasgow Civic Center. Registration from 8:30-9:30 a.m., and race at 10 a.m. Pre-registration will be on or before Oct. 29 and will cost less than it will the day of the race, even less with a non-perishable food item.

4 p.m. - Opheim Halloween Party for all community members at the OHS lunchroom.

SATURDAY – NOV. 7

9 a.m. - Opheim Jr. & Sr. classes sponsor a Bazaar and Bake Sale. More info, call 762-3213 or contact Ms. Lovelace at [email protected].
