Pink Tractor a Hit at the NE Montana Fair

Project Raises Money for Local Relay for Life

The Pink Tractor project was started two years ago by Northwest Farm Credit employees who volunteered 100 percent of the efforts with the sole purpose of raising awareness and money for cancer research for the communities and people whom it serves.

The tractor was found and completely restored within 30 days so it could attend its first function in 2013. Since then, it has logged thousands of miles as it traveled across Montana, Idaho, Oregon and Washington. Before the start of the demolition derby held in Glasgow, the tractor was used to tow cancer survivors around the berm to honor their individual journeys against cancer.

The Northwest Farm Credit Pink Tractor, a 1958 International 300, was a hot-pink topic during the Northeast Montana Fair. The Glasgow branch of Northwest Farm Credit donated over $2,000 to the Northeast Montana Relay for Life - most of that came from T-shirt and hat sales from the Pink Tractor project.

The Pink Tractor will continue its adventures across Montana and the Northwest.
