Reds Evaluate Season

Heading to Lewistown at 12-8-2

The Glasgow Reds baseball team is home again. They weathered eight games in five days on the road—two in Miles City where the Reds split with the Mavericks, then taking silver in the Buffalo Wild Wings Tournament in Billings. The result: Four wins, two losses and two ties, and an overall 12-8-2 record. Reds Head Coach Jack Sprague has this to say:

“We’re not getting the results that we were expecting at this point in the year but this is a perfect time to evaluate our team. We usually use the Lewistown tournament to gauge where were at for the year.“

Coach Sprague went on to explain that the upcoming tournament is an opportunity to run the full rotation and look at where the team is at and what they need to work on. “After the upcoming weekend,” he adds, “we’ll have a better idea of how we want to move forward.”

At the time of writing, the Reds are taking on the Glendive Blue Devils on this Tuesday evening, June 16. The Reds will be looking to avenge the double losses to the Blue Devils back on June 8, as well as picking up more conference wins to secure their place in the conference.
