Conrad E. Peterson

Conrad E. Peterson went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014, in the Eagle Cliff Manor in Billings, Mont. He was 88 years old.

He was the fourth child born to Walter and Bertha Peterson in Vida, Mont., on Jan. 11, 1926. He attended grade school years in Vida, and then attended Wolf Point High School. He enlisted in the Navy and served in World War II and the Korean War and was honorably discharged in July of 1952.

He married Pauline Gunn Oct. 15, 1952. To this union three children were born, Walter, Gaylene and Lonnie. He and his family lived in Glasgow from the late 50s to 1974. He was the manager of the Peavey Elevator for many years, and farmed 7 miles east of Glasgow on Highway 2.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Sid, David and Billy Peterson; one sister, Lauren Olson; and his oldest son, Walter Peterson.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Pauline Peterson; one daughter, Gaylene Casterline of Wolf Point; and one son, Lonnie Peterson of Lake Stevens, Wash.

A family graveside burial service with US Military honors was held Tuesday, Oct. 21, at 11 a.m., at the Yellowstone County Veterans Cemetery in Laurel. Memorial services were held at 12 noon on Wednesday, Oct. 21, at Park Hill Assemblies of God Church in Billings.

Funeral arrangements are by Remington Letcher Chapels of Laurel.
