It's For Real: Montana Scottie License Plates!

There's some pretty hardcore Scottie fans in Glasgow who might be a little excited about a new development. The Glasgow High School Booster Club has been working on the process to get Scottie license plates available.

The sporty license plate would be available for current students, parents and alumni across the state and will help bring funds to the booster club. Ruth Anne Hutcheson explained that the booster club helps raise funds for scholarships, uniforms, equipments and other needs for families that have kids participating in extra curricular activities.

Currently the activity fees help provide most of the support, along with donations that come in. With the booster club now participating in the license plate program with the state, all the fees will go directly to the organization. The $25 fee will help purchase the license plate that will probably be available by the first week of January.

Valley County Treasurer Brenda Anderson explained that the first year you purchase an organization plate there will be a fee on top of the donation fee, but each year following the full donation fee will go directly to the organization.
