Doggie Dash Coming July 19


The Doggie Dash is quickly approaching and The Glasgow Rec. Department and Valley Veterinary Clinic invite you to come out for a fun day in the sun with your favorite pooch.

The event consists of a 5k run or one mile run-walk to benefit the Northeast Montana Pet Rescue and will be held on July 19 at 8 a.m. at Sullivan Park in Glasgow.

Registration forms can be picked up at the GRD offices or Valley Veterinary Clinic. Registration includes a race shirt, goodie bag and tickets for raffle prizes.

Prizes include a dinner for six from Dyan Carlson, two oil changes from Newton Motors and a wellness exam from Valley Veterinary Clinic for your four-legged friend among others.

Water stations will be provided during and after the race as well as fresh fruit, and snow cones.

Participants can also utilize the photo station with pictures to take with their dogs if they so wish.

For more information, contact the GRD or Valley Veterinary Clinic. Registration and packet pick-up will begin at 7 a.m. the day of the race and go until 7:45 a.m.
