Two Years Later, A Crime Is Solved

Valley County Sheriff Glen Meier said a two-year crime was solved recently.

A caller from Nashua spotted a four-wheeler that had been missing from Opheim for about two years, Meier said. The man made the call and alerted the sheriff's department that this might be the vehicle that went missing.

The suspect in question was identified and made a full confession to the theft. The serial numbers matched.

Charges are still pending, so the name of the individual involved is currently not being released.
