Lavon Leroy Barnby

Lavon Leroy Barnby, 65, passed away Friday, Jan. 17, 2014.

He was born in Glasgow on Nov. 22, 1948. He attended the University of Montana in Missoula for one year. He then moved to Honolulu, Hawaii, to attend the University of Hawaii, earning a bachelor's degree in psychology.

He was a facilitator of people, interested in antique cars, music and botany. He lived a life full of humor, love and respect for Hawaiian and American Indian culture. He returned to his roots in his last years, the snowcapped mountains of Montana.

It is undeniable that he will be missed by his two sisters, Linda and LeAnn; four nieces, Michaela, Marissa, Ashley and Alesha; one nephew, Austen; and approximately 98 cousins around the United States with many in Montana.
