Junior High Basketball Has Strong Showing

The Glasgow junior high boys had a thrilling day at the basketball jamboree hosted by the Glasgow High School on Saturday, January 18. With first-game anxiety out of the way last weekend in Plentywood, all teams seemed to have intensified their game.

The junior high jamborees are attended by schools from Frontier, Glasgow, Plentywood, Poplar, Scobey, and Wolf Point. Each team plays two games with 18 minute halves. Sam Brelje and Nate Doornek are Glasgow’s eighth-grade and seventh-grade coach, respectively.

The Glasgow eighth graders continued to improve as they searched for the first win....
