Ice Dawgs Ready For New Year

The Glasgow High School team and U19 Ice Dawgs look to start off the new year exactly where they left off in 2013.

The U19 squad had two games in Bismarck on Dec. 28-29, but at the time of publication, results were not available.

The U19 squad is led by the scoring threats of Carley Wesley, Alex Simensen and MaKenzie Wesen. In the last four games, Simensen has 7 goals and an assist.

Wesen and Wesley have faired just as well, accumulating 6 goals and 9 assists between them over the same period.

Autumn Gault continues her hot year in the crease for the Ice Dawgs as she has racked up 64 saves in the previous four games.

On the high school side of things, Ice Dawgs coach Mike Eliason moves into the second half of the season with the same plan of attack that he utilized in the first half.

In the crease for Eliason’s team is his son Harley, who along with Ryan Padden and Connor Simensen, have been named to the Bozeman Ice Dogs U18 Tier II team.

The next game for both squads is Jan. 4 when the high school team travels to Bozeman while the U19 girls host Crosby for a two game set.
